Lava lava! is a French animated series by Federico Vitali from 1995. The series consists of a pilot film and 13 episodes, each three minutes in length.

content

The main characters of the short stories are mostly animals, humans and aliens. They go through bizarre situations that end in exaggeration and violent acts. Lava lava! contains many slapstick elements , the series does not need any words.

Production and publication

The series was produced in 1994 and 1995 by EVA Entertainment, La Fabrique, Les Films du Triangle and Videal GmbH and directed by Federico Vitali. Vitali and Jerome Vitiello wrote the scripts and Arturo Sandoval composed the music.

In 1995 the series was shown on ProSieben , on November 10, 1997 the first broadcast began in France on Canal + . The last episode was shown on June 4, 1999. In 1998 a VHS video cassette with all the episodes was released. In 2011 a DVD from the Epix label followed.
