Liberty Party (Liberia)
The Liberty Party (official abbreviation LP ; German Freedom Party ) is a liberal political party in Liberia .
The Liberty Party sent candidates into the field in the general parliamentary and presidential elections on October 11, 2005.
The Liberty Party candidate, Charles Brumskine , was polled to place third in the presidential elections, and eventually won 13.9% of the vote.
The party won a total of three seats in the Liberian Senate and nine seats in the Liberian Chamber of Deputies in the parliamentary elections .
