Linda Ruesink

Linda Ruesink (* 1966 ) is an American composer and music teacher.

Ruesink was already interested in music in her childhood and began to compose at the age of 16 under the guidance of Nicolas Contorno . From 1982 to 1988 she studied singing with Joyce Ryan , piano with Jerry Bramblett and composition with Karen Boubel and Joseph Koykkar at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater . She has been working as a music teacher since completing her studies. She is the author of textbooks such as the workbook series I Can Read Music and has composed chamber music works, including Reflections for flute and clarinet and Solace for horn and piano.
