Lip tattoo

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The lip tattoo , also called Violent Lips (brand of the first manufacturer) or Temporary Lip Tattoo , is a cosmetic means of temporary colors and patterns, which are applied to the lips with the help of a film.

origin

The invention of the lip tattoo comes from the American Isabella Haddad. She had the idea for this at the age of 13, whereupon she founded the company Violent Lips with her parents , through which she sells the product internationally to this day.

Designs

Lip tattoos come in many different designs. There are monochrome foils as well as very detailed patterned variants, such as B. Country flags or imitation animal fur available.

application

Lip tattoos already have a prefabricated lip contour, but have to be adjusted in width and height to the individual mouth size. The appropriately cut backing paper is placed with the printed side on the skin, moistened with the help of a sponge or cotton pad and removed again after a short exposure time. The lip tattoo now lasts between four and eight hours and can be removed at any time with the help of oil, skin cream or soap and water.
