List of mayors of the Austrian market or town municipality Bad Leonfelden since 1850. Also listed are the mayors of the previously independent cadastral communities Dietrichschlag, Laimbach, Stiftung bei Leonfelden and Weigetschlag, which were incorporated into Bad Leonfelden on November 1, 1938.

Elected mayors in the monarchy

The mayors were not elected until the March Revolution of 1848. In 1848 parts of the population were given the right to vote, depending on income and property. Large parts of the population, such as women, were excluded from the right to vote. The first mayor elected by a citizens' committee (according to the March constitution of March 4, 1849) was Franz Kastner.
