List of classes of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR
This is a list of the classes of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR , which was called the "German Academy of Sciences in Berlin" from 1946–1972 and then continued to exist until 1990/91 as the " Academy of Sciences of the GDR ". Both the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences , founded in 1992, and the Leibniz Society of Sciences in Berlin , founded in 1993, consider themselves successor organizations .
