List of Olympic champions in Nordic combined

The list of Olympic champions in Nordic Combined includes all winners as well as the second and third placed in competitions in Nordic Combined at the Olympic Winter Games since 1924, broken down according to the individual competitions. In the further part, all athletes who have been Olympic champions at least once are listed.

Competitions

The individual competitions in Nordic Combined include the following disciplines since the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver (2010) , due to the changes in the competition formats from the 2008/09 season :

  • Normal hill (1 jump) and a 10 km cross-country skiing (start using the Gundersen method ) (2 competitions so far)
  • Large hill (1 jump) and a 10 km cross-country skiing (start using the Gundersen method) (2 competitions so far)

Since the Turin Winter Olympics , the team competition has included:

  • Large hill (1 jump) and a 4 × 5 km cross-country relay (start according to the Gundersen method) (3 competitions so far)

Up until the Olympic Winter Games in Turin (2006) the following individual competitions were held:

  • singles
    • Normal hill and an 18 km cross-country skiing - from 1924 to 1952 - (6 competitions in total)
    • Normal hill and a 15 km cross-country skiing - from 1956 to 1984 - (8 competitions in total)
    • Normal hill and a 15 km cross-country skiing (start according to the Gundersen method) - from 1988 to 2006 - (6 competitions in total)
  • sprint
    • Large hill and a 7.5 km cross-country skiing (start according to the Gundersen method) - from 2002 to 2006 - (a total of 2 competitions)

Up to the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City (2002) the following team competitions were held:

  • team
    • Small hill and a 3 × 10 km cross-country relay - from 1988 to 1994 - (3 competitions in total)
    • Small hill and a 4 × 5 km cross-country relay - from 1998 to 2002 - (2 competitions in total)

A total of 34 gold medals were awarded at the Winter Games.

  • Country: Name the country for which the athlete started. When changing nationality, the country for which the athlete won the last medal is named.
  • By: The year the athlete won the first medal.
  • Until: The year in which the athlete won the last medal.
  • Gold: states the number of gold medals won.
  • Individual gold: states the number of gold medals won in an individual discipline.
  • Silver: states the number of silver medals won.
  • Bronze: states the number of bronze medals won.
  • Total: states the number of all medals won.
