List of people who have won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards
This list of people who have won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards lists the people who have won all four of the major American entertainment industry awards in a regular competition category (no honors or special awards ) for individual achievement (no group awards) to have. These four awards are the Emmy (television), the Grammy (music and spoken word), the Oscar (film) and the Tony (theater and musical).
Based on the four first letters of the prices, this service is also referred to as EGOT . This acronym was coined in the 1980s by actor Philip Michael Thomas , who announced at the time that he wanted to achieve this goal. Thomas himself could not win any of the four prizes.

As of July 2020, 16 people were able to win each of the four prizes at least once in a competition category for an individual achievement.
