List of the rectors of the Graz University of Technology
The list of rectors of the Graz University of Technology lists all the directors of studies, directors or rectors of the Graz University of Technology from the time it was founded as a technical institute . From 1827 study directors were appointed, from 1865 the directors were elected, from 1872 these were designated as rectors. From 1865 to 1938 and from 1945 to 1975 the term of office of a rector was one year, from 1975 two years and since 1996 it has been four years.
