List of snooker players with at least a hundred century breaks

This list names all snooker players who have made hundreds or more century breaks in official tournaments during their careers .

In snooker , a series of points achieved by a player being at the table continuously without playing a foul or missing a pocket is called a break . A series of one hundred or more points per shot is called a Century Break . So far 71 players have achieved 100 or more such registered Century Breaks.

The results from the very different periods in the history of snooker are difficult to compare with each other, as the number of tournaments (and the associated opportunities to play many high breaks) also vary greatly. Until the end of the 1980s, high breaks were also rather rare, since at that time the defensive game was considered the more promising. The majority of the players on this list therefore only achieved their Centuries after that time.

However, in addition to the number of ranked tournaments won or the ranking , this list provides a further point of reference for recording different levels of play. Some players have never won a ranked tournament but have made more than 100 century breaks. So you also have a certain skill level or have at least delivered continuous performance. David Gilbert e.g. B. ranks 24th on this list with over 250 Century Breaks, even though he has never won a ranking tournament. Conversely, some players have already won a tournament, so they are on the list of winners in snooker ranking tournaments , but have not (yet) reached one hundred official Century Breaks.

Neil Robertson has in the season 2013/14 with a total of 103 pieces as the first player ever the mark of at least one hundred official Century Breaks in a season achieved. Judd Trump also achieved that with 102 Century Breaks in the 2019/20 season .

Ronnie O'Sullivan became the first player to hit the 1000 Century Breaks mark during the 2018-19 season .

• Place: Arranges the players according to the number of their Century Breaks (blue column) . In the event of a tie, the player who has achieved more Century Breaks in the current season will be named first.
• Name: gives the name of the player.
• Nation: States the nationality under which the player is listed at the world association.
• Dates of life: states the date of birth and, if applicable, the date of death of the player. Sorting is based on the date of birth.
• Number: The number of Century Breaks the player has achieved in his career.
• 18/19: States the number of Century Breaks the player achieved in the 2018/19 season.
• 19/20: States the number of Century Breaks the player has achieved so far in the 2019/20 season .
• Number of MB: States the number of maximum breaks that the player has achieved so far in his career.
• Points: Name the highest break that the player has scored in the course of his career.
• Number of CT: States the number of Century Breaks according to a more or less deviating list from CueTracker , which can be used as a comparison.
