The building was erected around 1850 as a residential building with a stable and barn. With the construction of today's district hospital, it was rebuilt in 1914 according to plans by Hans Illmer and initially served as an isolation hospital, from 1958 as a district hospital, from 1974 as a nursing home for long-term sick people and since 1990 as the hospital's administration building. The two-storey brick middle-corridor house with a mighty, curved hipped roof over a wide hollow has regularly structured facades. On the north-eastern side of the gable, a covered staircase from around 1915 leads to a wide segment arch portal. On the south-western gable facade there are two arched, closed door openings and a double-sided bay window on the upper floor.
