The parish church of Haindorf ( patronage : St.  Peter and Paul ), a late Romanesque building from the early 13th century with Gothic changes and Baroque changes that shape the overall appearance , has a single nave nave with Romanesque slotted windows and early Baroque groin vaults , a straight choir with an early Gothic one Ribbed vaults , a Gothic tower attached to the south of the choir with a late Baroque bell storey and an onion dome from the 18th century, as well as a uniformly Baroque facade.

Mitterau Castle, located in the middle of a park, received its external appearance between 1746 and 1755 under Franz Raimund Count Montecuccoli . The four wings, each with one basement and two upper floors, are arranged in a square and were built on pilots due to the soft subsoil . The four round, clearly protruding corner turrets with pointed helmets are one half story higher than the eaves . There is a chapel in one of the towers .
