The Mittenwaldbahn is an electric local train that was planned from 1905 by Josef Riehl and Wilhelm Carl von Doderer and built between 1910 and 1912. Due to the many tunnels and bridges, it was one of the most expensive rail projects of its time in terms of its length.
The Schlossbachgrabenbrücke is a steel arch truss bridge . With a span of around 56 meters, it spans the Schlossbach gorge , making it the longest bridge structure on this railway line. It was manufactured and assembled in 1912 by the kuk Hof-Eisen-Construktions-Werkstätte. In 2012 the bridge was renovated.

The bridge connects the communities of Zirl and Reith bei Seefeld .
