The list of Capuchin monasteries in Central and Southern Europe (in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Switzerland) gives an overview of existing or former Capuchin monasteries of German-speaking provenance. it includes

  • the monasteries of the Swiss Province (since 1589) and their splits: the Front Austrian Province (1668–1834), the Alsace Province (1729–1791) and the Swabian Province (1782–1803);
  • the Tyrolean (since 1828 North Tyrolean) Province (since 1605) and its splits: the Bavarian Province (since 1668), the Franconian Province (1711–1836), the Swabian-Palatinate Province (1791–1803);
  • the Cologne-Rhenish Province (1619–1668) and its splits: the Cologne (from 1803 Westphalian) Province (1668–1834), the Rhenish Province (1668–1803), its successor to the Rhenish-Westphalian Province (since 1860) with the Secession of the Alsatian Province (since 1919);
  • the Styrian Province (merged into Vienna from 1921) (1619–1921);
  • the Austrian-Vienna Province (1619–1921 and, in its successor, the Vienna Province (since 1921);
  • the Austro-Bohemian Province (1618–1673) and its splits: the Bohemian Province (1673–1827), the Moravian Province (1783–1827) and its union of the Bohemian-Moravian Province 1827–1946).
