Installed capacity and annual production

In 2016, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked 33rd in terms of installed capacity with 28.91  GW and 31st place in the world for annual generation with 121.8 billion  kWh . The degree of electrification was 100% in 2017. The UAE was a net importer of electricity in 2016; they imported 1.141 billion kWh.
