The 1980 Little League World Series was the 34th edition of the Little League Baseball World Series , an international baseball tournament for boys between the ages of 11 and 12. The game was played in South Williamsport .

With the recognition of the National Olympic Committee of Chinese Taipei by the IOC and the international sports federations in November 1979, Taiwan entered under the name “ Chinese Taipei ”.
