Living Planet Programs

The name Living Planet Program describes the work of the European Space Agency ESA , both to obtain research data about the earth and to perform observation tasks. The first category includes the missions carried out by ESA within the Earth Explorer Missions sub- program. Earth observation within the Kopernikus initiative and the cooperation with EUMETSAT ( MetOp , Meteosat ) in weather observation fall into the second category.
