Local registry

A Local Registration Authority (ger .: local registration authority , shortly LRA ) is part of the infrastructure of a public key infrastructure (PKI).

The LRA represents the connection between the user and the central registration office. In the LRA, the applications for personal, functional / organizational or technical certificates are made. Generally speaking, only one registration authority is used.
