Ludwigslust tariff association

The Ludwigslust tariff association (abbreviated LTV ) was a special public transport tariff in the Ludwigslust district . The DB Regio AG , the Ludwigsluster Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (LVG) and, since the timetable change on December 15, 2002, the Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH (ODEG) also participated in the joint tariff established in 1996 . However, the LTV was not a real transport association , but merely an optional additional tariff , also known as the roof tariff .

The in-house tariffs of the transport companies involved and the joint bus tariff of the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Westmecklenburg ( VWM ) remained unaffected by the LTV tariff and existed in parallel. This means that they were used alternatively - the passenger always had the option of choosing between the LTV tariff and the tariffs that had already existed before. In addition, there was no Verbundgesellschaft - the Ludwigslust District Office was responsible for the lead management . The LTV tariff included only certain frequently requested transfer routes in the Ludwigslust district, so the LTV did not cover all of the local public transport in the district compared to traditional network tariffs.

On January 1, 2010, the LTV was replaced by the West Mecklenburg Tariff ( WMT ). The WMT is in turn a so-called "roof tariff", it is also offered in addition to the company's own in-house tariffs.
