MPEG-J

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

With MPEG-J , a Java API defined in MPEG-4 part 11 is available, which gives authors a complex control system to get access to individual audiovisual objects and the entire MPEG-4 scene during runtime.

This enables users to interact with the objects in the scene . So far, apart from the MPEG-4 reference implementation “IM1”, only the IAVAS 3D Player (“I3D”) is known, which supports this API . The I3D is based on the core of the IM1 reference implementation.
