Macroeconomic Dynamics is an eight-yearly scientific journal on macroeconomic topics. It has been published by Cambridge University Press since 1997 , and initially published 4 issues a year.

In addition to scientific papers are reviews , interviews, special editions and meeting bands ( proceedings ) published.

editorial staff

The editorial team of the JCMS is currently (2015) headed by William A. Barnett . The editors of book reviews is incumbent Michele Boldrin and Gregory D. Hess , the special editions Lee Ohanian and Stephen J. Turnovsky . They are supported by 17 consulting editors and a number of associated editors.

A study by the French economists Pierre-Phillippe Combes and Laurent Linnemer ranks the journal in the third best category A, ranking 64th out of 600 economic journals.

According to its own information, the journal had an impact factor of 0.975 in 2014.
