The Magirus-Deutz "Muni" is a fire service vehicle that was produced in just 6 pieces by the Ulm commercial vehicle manufacturer Magirus-Deutz .

History and Development

In 1957 the Magirus-Deutz "Muni" was manufactured as a fire engine . It has permanent all-wheel drive with compensation, off-road reduction that can be locked from the driver's seat (center differential) and an independently acting transverse differential. A trailer hook for carrying various fire service trailers, as required. The tires consist of Firestone 1100R20 16 PR U300 0160F with a tire pressure of 7.5 bar at the front and 7.0 bar at the rear. The braking system is based on pure air brakes, equipped with single-line, indirect trailer air brakes.
