Magic Ring Austria
The Magische Ring Austria ( MRA ) was founded on October 16, 1982 in Salzburg as the umbrella organization of the Austrian magic clubs. The aim of the association, similar to the Magic Circle of Germany, to cultivate and promote the art of magic . The MRA is a member of the FISM .
Tasks of the MRA
Specialized congresses are held regularly under his auspices, at which 200 to 500 magicians meet. These congresses took place annually until 2006, then every other year.
The most important item on the agenda of these meetings are the Austrian Championships of Magic, at which the title of “Grand Prix” winner can be awarded for special achievements, which is the highest national award of the Austrian Magicians.
In September 2019, the Magical Ring Austria organized the Joseph Fröhlich Festival in Bad Aussee .
