Magnetic pole

Magnetic pole , magnetic pole stands for:

  • the two areas on a magnet in the vicinity of which the magnetic field strength is particularly high, see magnetism
  • the intersection of the axis of the earth's magnetic field with the earth's surface, see pole (geomagnetism)
  • Hypothetical particles that carry a magnetic charge or groups of particles that seem to behave like this, see Magnetic Monopole
