Makoto Tsubasa ( Japanese真 琴 つ ば さTsubasa Makoto ; born November 25, 1964 in Tokyo ; real name: 保 川 真 名 美, Yasukawa Manami) is a Japanese dancer, presenter, singer, actress, voice actress and producer.

life and work

From 1997 to 2001, Tsubasa was a member of the Takarazuka Revue musical theater group and one of the stars of the theater's Tsukigumi (moon troupe). She was a so-called otokoyaku , specializing in male roles. In her last role she played the young Octavian in the Takarazuka version of the Rosenkavalier Ai no Sonata (Love Sonata ).

At the same time she worked as a producer for the Takarazuka pay-TV broadcaster Sky Stage and also moderated a program there.

Furthermore, since 2004 she has often appeared in television shows, soaps (for example Namida no Ondo ) as well as roles as a voice actress and in musicals. She also holds concerts regularly.

In recent years she has devoted herself to her singing and theater career again. She also appears repeatedly at Takarazuka shows as a special guest.
