Macrophysics
Macrophysics describes the sub-areas of physics in which the atomic structure of matter is only indirectly noticeable and is therefore not specifically considered.
With correspondingly large bodies, which consist of numerous particles , measuring instruments and the terms used always average over many atoms. This happens, for example, in the physics of condensed matter or statistical thermodynamics .
