Maldivian literature

Under the Maldivian literature refers to the literature of the Maldives . The first appearance took place at the end of the 12th century , because the first so-called Lōmāfānu , a kind of coherent copper-plated tablet, is dated to this time . Probably the most important Lōmāfānu is the Bodugalu Miskiy Lōmāfānu, which was found on the Haddhunmathi Atoll .

Husain Salaahuddinn wrote Siyarathunnabaviyyaa , the most famous religious literature of modern times.
