Manuwat

Manuwat was an ancient city and state, best known from texts from Ebla that date from the middle to the second half of the third millennium BC. To date. The exact location of Manuwat is uncertain, but the city is believed to be in the Palestinian region. The Ebla texts show that the city had one, but sometimes two kings ruling at the same time. Only King Enna-Bamu is known by name. In addition, the names of various royal sons have been handed down. Manuwat also appears in Ebla's texts as an important trading partner.
