Marburg Directive

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the context of juvenile criminal law , reference is made to the Marburg guidelines , in addition to some case groups from the case law that are intended to indicate the lack of adult maturity , in order to obtain criteria for young people or the lack of adult-specific criteria.

These include poor personality development, helplessness, naivety, inclination to adventurous ventures, playful attitude to work, lack of contact with peers, no life planning and lack of independence.

The Marburg guidelines date from 1954 and since then attempts have been made to specify their criteria.
