Marijampolestrasse

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Marijampolestraße is a street in the Hand district of Bergisch Gladbach in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

The street was named in 1993 after the Lithuanian town of Marijampolė , with which Bergisch Gladbach has had a town partnership since 1989 . The street spatially adjoins the field of names of Eastern European cities, which arose as a settlement complex after the Second World War when refugees were taken in.
