Mario Clößner (born December 7, 1983 in Daubhausen ) is a former German handball player .

The 1.97 m tall and 103 kg heavy cyclist began playing handball at TSV Daubhausen. He later went to HSG Wetzlar , where he also played in the Bundesliga team from 2002 . In 2007 he moved to the second division ASV Hamm , with whom he was promoted to the upper house in 2009/10 . With the newly founded HSG Ahlen-Hamm gambling community , however , he had to relegate immediately in 2010/11 . Then the first division club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf signed him . His time with the warriors was marked by knee problems, especially a cartilage damage forced him to take an almost one-year break until March 2013. After his contract, which ran until summer 2013, initially expired and he was not a club, he returned to Lower Saxony in November 2013 and also came for missions in the EHF European Cup 2013/14 . He ended his career in the summer of 2014.
