Markus Ritterbach (born July 24, 1963 in Cologne ) is a German entrepreneur , carnival and football official .

As managing partner, Markus Ritterbach heads the Ritterbach Verlag GmbH as well as the brand and strategy consultancy Ritterbach GmbH. The Ritterbach Verlag publishes the publications of the Ministry of Schools and Education of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and also offers a large selection of specialist books and publications for school practice in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Ritterbach was President of the Cologne Festival Committee for 12 years and was Vice President of 1. FC Köln from 2012 to 2019 . Markus Ritterbach is involved in many honorary positions:
