The Marshal of the Crown ( Polish : marszałek koronny , Latin : mareschalus Regni Poloniae ) was the first "minister" in the Polish crown and had powers similar to those of the Interior Minister today. He belonged to a group of 5 members of the Polish Senate such as the Court Marshal of the Crown, Chancellor of the Crown, Vice Chancellor and Treasurer of the Crown, with the Marshal of the Crown being the most important "minister" among them.
