Martin Maraggia

Martin Maraggia is a Swiss manager and sports official.

Life

Maraggia has worked as a manager for various companies in the vehicle industry and has been President of Auto-Center Thun AG since May 2012.

He is also President of the Swiss Caravan Trade Association.

Maraggia lives in Thun and his place of origin is Bern .

Sports official

Maraggia became president of the BSC Young Boys football club in 1999 , which was in financial difficulties. With the help of the investor Walter Theiler from Lucerne , Maraggia was able to avert the financial ruin of the football club. In November 2000, Maraggia resigned under pressure from Theiler, but remained president of the YB donors' association.

The football club BSC Young Boys made Maraggia an honorary member in 2009.
