Material action

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The material action is a form of action art that originally came from the AAO , which used different materials for this: oil, but also slip or blood and innards.

The participants usually go blindfolded into a basin in which they are then doused with warm oil. Outside the pool there are one or two instructors who guide the participants' orientation behavior freely or on specific topics. The participants have strong sensory experiences, which, depending on the instructions, can be erotic, psychedelic and / or process-oriented.
