Material physics
The material physics is a branch of physics . It deals with the physical principles of the structure and structure of real solids on the atomic level.
The transition from material physics to solid state physics is fluid. Material physics examines the real structures with their defects, which are of central importance for many properties, while solid state physics examines essentially perfect and idealized structures.
Metal physics also belongs to material physics .
