Matetsi

Matetsi is a small town on the road and railway line from Hwange to Victoria Falls . The place has an asphalted 2000 m runway with a terminal. It serves tourism in the Hwange National Park and on the Zambezi .

Matetsi is also a huge private hotel complex with various lodges, 50,000 hectares of zoo and 15 km of banks on the Zambezi . The facility is usually booked in conjunction with a trip to the Okawango Delta . Next to it and directly adjacent to the Hwange National Park there is the state park Matetsi Deka Safari Area , which, like Thuli , Chirisa and Chete, is a tourist hunting area.
