Maughold

Maughold is a village on the Isle of Man . It is located on the east coast of the island on Ramsey Bay. The place is named after the holy Maughold ( Maccaldus ), the patron of the island. There are numerous Celtic crosses in the local parish church.
The nearby Cape Maughold Head is the easternmost point of the island. There is a lighthouse there .
