Medical Logic Modules

Medical logic module ( Engl. For Medical Logic Module) are small interchangeable knowledge modules that include medical knowledge. The aim in developing these modules was to represent medical knowledge in a form in which it can be incorporated into various clinical settings. MLMs have their origins in the HELP system from Salt Lake City and the CARE system from Indianapolis. MLMs are written in the Arden syntax , which is specially designed for the MLMs.
