Mentifact

A mentifact is a human artifact whose mental content is central; in contrast to the artifact, in which the physically tangible object is meant. In contrast to museums, mentifacts can be reproduced without loss of information, since their meaning does not lie in their materiality, but in the information they contain. The term is used in semiotics .
