Mich (a) el Tichter was a stonemason and sculptor who worked in Austria around 1500 .
Tichter was used for the erection and completion of the tomb of Emperor Friedrich III. (1415–1493) commissioned in the south choir of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna . It is documented that from 1495 to 1513 he and his workshop designed and manufactured the parapet with its sculptural jewelry.
