Milga

Milga (also called Katrien , St. Katherina ) is a town in Egypt , in the center of southern Sinai .

It is located below the 2285 m high Djebel Musa (Mosesberg). About two kilometers southeast of Milga is the Katharinenkloster , which was founded between 548 and 565 AD. Milga is the starting point for exploring the region.
