Monithon is an Italian citizens' initiative and online platform founded in September 2013 to monitor EU cohesion policy in Italy, in particular to prevent waste . Monithon uses open data on EU funding published by the Italian government at OpenCoesione.it. This data is georeferenced on the Monithon website and can be provided with photos, videos or interviews.
