Movimiento Bolivia Libre
The Movimiento Bolivia Libre (MBL) is a progressive party in Bolivia .
The MBL was formed on January 15, 1985, originally as a split from the MIR party , under the name MIR Bolivia Libre .
In the general election of 2002, the MBL in alliance with the Movimiento Nacionalista Revolucionario (MNR) won 26.9% of the vote, 36 of 130 MPs and 11 of 27 Senate seats.
In the general election of December 2005, however, the MBL did not achieve the required minimum percentage, so that the party has lost its party status for the time being.
