Multiprocessing
Under multiprocessing refers
- the ability of a multiprocessor system to actually execute more than one process simultaneously ;
- the ability of a computer to actually work on more than one process simultaneously (a processor with several cores), see multiprocessing system / multiprocessing
- hardware-side multithreading , which is similar to an extremely hardware-related time slice method (only one "real" processor core, but several "logical" cores)
