Pomeranian Immigration Museum

The Museum of Pomeranian Immigration ( Museu da Imigração Pomerana ) in Santa Maria de Jetibá describes the immigration of migrants from Pomerania to the state of Espírito Santo in Brazil .

The main settlement area of the German immigrants in Brazil was the climatically comparable south with Europe with Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Caterina and to a lesser extent Espírito Santo. The museum is located in a house from 1905 in Santa Maria de Jetibá and there are exhibits about the settlement of the town by Germans from Pomerania.
