The Museum of Danish America (formerly Danish Immigrant Museum ) is a migration museum in Elk Horn , Iowa. The museum society was founded in 1983 as a non-profit organization and opened the museum in 1994. It is intended to convey the history and successes of the Danish Americans, make Elk Horn a tourist destination and set new accents through innovative exhibitions, events and publications.
