The museum station Dahlhausen (Wupper) is a railway museum on the Wuppertalbahn in Dahlhausen (Wupper) , a district of Radevormwald .
location
The station is on the railway line from Remscheid-Lennep to Wuppertal-Oberbarmen , the Wuppertal Railway . It was opened in 1886 by the Bergisch-Märkische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft and branches off from Wuppertal-Oberbarmen shortly after the Wuppertal-Rauenthal depot .
The approximately eight kilometers long, listed section of the route between Wuppertal-Beyenburg and Wilhelmsthal is being renovated by the Wupperschiene Association . Later, excursion traffic with historical trains is to be operated from the museum station.
The station area, but not the station building itself, is the seat of the Wupperschiene Förderverein; most of the association's vehicles are parked there.
