Mutara II. Rwogera († 1853) was King (Mwami) of the Kingdom of Rwanda in the first half of the 19th century .

Life

He belonged to the Tutsi people and ruled from 1830 to 1853 (dates uncertain). Under him and under his successor Kigeri IV the kingdom reached the height of its power. Since the 1840s, Rwanda has waged several wars against its neighbors.
