The Na-Hang-Nui-Ba nature reserve was established in 1994 and is located in the north-west of Vietnam , in the Tuyên Quang Province . The area of ​​the protected area is around 200 square kilometers.

Duration

The reason for the establishment of the area is the Tonkin golden monkey ( Pygathrix avunculus ) , which was only discovered in 1992 . In 2002 the researchers working here counted 260 Tonkin golden monkeys. In addition, the collar bear , also called Asiatic black bear or moon bear ( Ursus thibetanus ), a leopard species and endangered turtle species live there .
